Herbert Can Be Ever Ready

When I was looking for a way to propose to my fiance I was really in a quandary. Not sure what to do, were, how… I was giving it a lot of thought. I thought I would throw her a party for her birthday and ask her there in front of everyone, then decided that I really didn’t want to propose in front of a large group. So I kept thinking, dinner at our favorite restaurant well that did not seem original enough. Over Labor Day weekend when we would be up north with her family, that just did not have the romantic touch I was looking for. Every idea I came up with just did not seem to be goo enough, Not romantic enough or too common or usual. I was just not hitting the creativity mark yet. Then one night I woke up in the middle of the night and fought a weekend in New York City, just the two of us sometime in the late fall when it is cold and romantic. I decided the weekend away would be a surprise too. I set up a plan where I would tell her that we would be taking a weekend away in a near by town we really enjoy and at the last minute surprise her with the fact we would be going to New York City.

Booking the hotel room was very important for this trip, I was thinking a small hotel in mid town Manhattan where we would have easy access to the theater district and a short trip up town to the Museums. I started looking on the net and I was happy when I found boutique hotels New York. There were a selection of small hotels where individual attention was stressed. That sounded perfect for the weekend of my proposal to her. I called the hotel and arranged to have flowers, champagne and a nice fruit and chocolate basket in the room for our arrival. Made reservations for dinner and have it planned to have the ring delivered with dessert.

I know this will really surprise her and she will love going to New York City so how could any of it go wrong!
